Day 3: Trastevere, A Haven for Bohemians

We went into the quaint neighbourhood of Trastevere for a change of scenery. Our path through ivy-covered buildings and cobblestone streets took us to charming cafes and artisan stores. The bohemian vibe of Trastevere was a welcome change from the prehistoric sites we had visited earlier. We enjoyed real food that evening.








Day 4: A Spiritual Journey through Vatican City

Vatican City, the world's tiniest sovereign state, is a must-see destination on every trip to Rome. We were astounded by the creative and spiritual wealth of the city-state after visiting St. Peter's Basilica and the Vatican Museums. As we ascended the dome, we were greeted with expansive vistas of Rome, which highlighted the city's flawless fusion of the religious and the secular.









Day 5: Trevi Fountain, Enchanting

We finished our last day in Rome with a trip to the magnificent Trevi Fountain. We joined the centuries-old custom, guaranteeing our return to the eternal city, as we threw a coin over our shoulder into the glistening waters.
